Islamabad, Dec 25 (IANS) Reports of dog and donkey meat being used to prepare chicken feed in factories in Lahore has caused an outrage among residents in the Pakistani metropolis.

Islamabad, Dec 25 — Reports of dog and donkey meat being used to prepare chicken feed in factories in Lahore has caused an outrage among residents in the Pakistani metropolis.

The factories in question are located in Bhobattian Chowk and Karol Ghatti areas, Geo News reported.

Apart from using meat in chicken feed, the factories are also allegedly using fat from the animals to make soap.

Police said an investigation will be launched and action taken against those responsible.
