Congress to celebrate 128th foundation day Friday

New Delhi, Dec 27 (IANS) Top Congress leaders including Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, party chief Sonia Gandhi and general secretary Rahul Gandhi will participate at a function here to celebrate the Congress's 128th foundation day Friday.

New Delhi, Dec 27 — Top Congress leaders including Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, party chief Sonia Gandhi and general secretary Rahul Gandhi will participate at a function here to celebrate the Congress's 128th foundation day Friday.

The party was formed on Dec 28, 1885.

According to party sources, the Congress chief will hoist the party's flag at the AICC headquarters at 24 Akbar Road on the occasion.

She may address the workers and is likely to interact with senior party leaders later, said the sources.
