Islamabad, Dec 29 — Pakistan Saturday decided to reopen video-sharing website YouTube, which was blocked in September following the release of a movie termed blasphemous to Islam, an official said.

The site was blocked by the government Sep 17, when mass riots erupted in the country, after the uploading of the anti-Islam video clip, Xinhua reported.

Farooq Awan, director general of the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority, said that all Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and IT companies have been directed to unblock YouTube by Sunday.

He said talks were underway with YouTube's parent company Google for the removal of blasphemous content from the video-sharing website.

On Friday, Interior Minister Rehman Malik wrote in a social networking website that YouTube would be restored Saturday because of the huge public demand.

Aug 29 2014 4:31pm CDT | Source: Business Insider

Takeshi Yamasaki, a former Nippon Pro baseball player, gave his best shot at hitting an insane 186mph fastball for a Japanese game show recently, and his performance was about the same as it would be if you were up at bat. Yamasaki racked up 403 home runs over his 25-year career according to CBS Sports, but that doesn't really matter when a ball is coming at twice its normal speed from a pitching machine. In the video uploaded to YouTube, Yamasak ...

New York City's 2-Bedroom, 22-Person Apartment Is Your Worst Nightmare

Aug 29 2014 2:09pm CDT | Source: Business Insider

A horrifying YouTube video showing a “luxury” New York City two-bedroom apartment is making the rounds today. The catch? It’s filled with 11 bunk beds for 22 roommates. The video, which was first spotted by Brokelyn, was uploaded back in January, so unfortunately, this stunning real estate gem is probably already filled — or shut down. We're skeptical that it's even real, given the complete absurdity of the place, which looks like a camp bunk for recent college grads. In ...
