Styles found Taylor Swift demanding

Jan 9 2013, 9:36pm CST | by

Los Angeles, Jan 10 (IANS) Singer Harry Styles, who has reportedly parted with Taylor Swift, found her too demanding, says sources.

Los Angeles, Jan 10 — Singer Harry Styles, who has reportedly parted with Taylor Swift, found her too demanding, says sources.

"Harry and Taylor had an incredibly intense relationship, and really did care strongly about one another. Sadly it fizzled out just as quickly, and came to a head following a series of angry spats on holiday," a source told contactmusic.com.

"Harry felt Taylor was nagging him, quizzing him on his intentions with various women and generally having very little faith in him.

"It all became too much and Harry found her a little too demanding. Taylor probably engineered the split but Harry held all the cards in the relationship," added the source.

However, sources close to Styles, who was comforted by another girl just 24 hours after being dumped by Swift, has not ruled at a reconciliation once they have spent some time away from each other.

"They are having a break for the moment to cool off. But who knows what the future holds?

"They're both young and hugely successful, with the world at their feet," said another source.

Students tweet their way to online accolades

Oct 14 2014 2:11am CDT | Source: The Brown Daily Herald

“Anyone who likes to write realizes there’s a plethora of terrible ideas that bounce around in your head. It’s my job to give those ideas a voice and a face to punch,” said Dana Schwartz ’15, the brains behind the parody Twitter account @GuyInYourMFA. Started in early September, the account represents a typical white male “literary novelist,” Schwartz said. @GuyInYourMFA often quotes some of his “work,” describes an idea for an upcoming novel or remarks on ...

The Lineup

Oct 3 2014 12:38am CDT | Source: The Brown Daily Herald

Airborne Toxic Event | The Met | Oct. 5 Fun fact: The band’s name is an homage to Don DeLillo’s postmodernist novel, “White Noise.” Pretentious? Sure. But the literary reference fits with the band’s reputation for evocative lyrics, one of the features that garnered critical acclaim for their eponymous 2008 debut album. The anthemic track “Sometime Around Midnight,” which appears on that album, ranked as iTunes’ number one alternative song for that year. Though the band’s atmos ...
