Los Angeles, Jan 31 — Actress Eva Green has landed the lead role in "Sin City: A Dame To Kill For".

The former Bond girl will play the titular dame, Ava Lord, in the follow-up to 2005 film, reports contactmusic.com.

"Ava Lord is one of the most deadly and fascinating residents of Sin City. From the start, we knew that the actor would need to be able to embody the multifaceted characteristics of this femme fatale and we found that in Eva Green," co-directors Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller said in a statement.

The cast of the film already includes Bruce Willis, Mickey Rourke, Jessica Alba and Rosario Dawson.
