Paris, Feb 12 — The latest indicators issued by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) showed improved growth in most major economies but with "diverging patterns", the Paris-based agency said.

Composite leading indicators (CLIs) for December 2012, showed better growth in its 33 member states with the index rising for the third successive month above the benchmark of 100 points, reported Xinhua.

It said the eurozone would enter a period of growth stabilization after indicators inched up to 99.6 from 99.5 in November. However, data showed France's growth had weakened.

For emerging markets, indicators predicted a "growth below trend compared with more positive signals in last month's assessment" in China and India. Brazil's CLIs indicated that growth might be picking up.

With the indexes remaining below 100 points, both Russia and Canada would keep a growth below trend.
