New Denver Area Homes from Taylor Morrison Are Showcased During the Denver 2013 Parade of Homes

Aug 6 2013, 6:06am CDT | by PR.com

Denver, CO, August 06, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Denver home buyers have the opportunity to view some of the latest new home designs from Taylor Morrison during the Denver 2013 Parade of Homes, taking place throughout the Denver metropolitan area from August 8 through September 2.

The 2013 Denver Parade of Homes showcases more than 70 homes throughout the Denver area. Most homes are fully furnished, decorated and landscaped while other preview homes will be finished homes waiting for buyer’s selections. The Parade of Homes runs Thursday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Labor Day. The event is free to the public.

“This year’s parade of homes should be especially exciting with the addition of our Silverleaf and Terrain communities to the list,” said Brian Cartwright, vice president of sales and marketing for Taylor Morrison’s Denver division.

Four Taylor Morrison communities will be part of the Denver 2013 Parade of Homes: Terrain in Castle Rock, Whispering Creek in Golden, The Lakes at Westwood in Arvada and Silverleaf in Broomfield.

The recently-opened Terrain in Castle Rock offers new single and two-story homes for sale that include 3 to 4 bedrooms (with 2 to 3.5 baths) and range from 2,638 to 3,534 square feet. Prices start in the mid $300,000's. The community is situated in the quaint valley that follows McMurdo Gulch, offering exceptional Colorado views.

Nearby are plenty of recreational activities for the whole family. Terrain features a swim club, extensive trail systems that lead to open space and connect with regional trails, planned Dog Bone Park and Wrangler Park.

Whispering Creek in Golden is a special community of just 16 home sites ranging in size from 1/4 to 1/2 acre with Taylor Morrison floor plans that range from 2,807 to 3,685 square feet. The homes, which start in the $610,000s, feature 3 to 5 bedrooms and 2.5 to 4 baths. Whispering Creek offers Denver Metro home buyers a rural setting that is serene but still possessing many modern conveniences just minutes away.

“These preview homes are stunning new plans for Taylor Morrison and most feature outdoor spaces with fireplaces and stacking slider windows to bring the outdoors into the home,” Cartwright said.

The Lakes at Westwoods in Arvada offers new Denver-area homes for sale that include 3 to 5 bedrooms with 2 to 3.5 baths and range from 2,393 to 3,534 square feet. Prices start in the $420,000s. The community includes great views of the Rocky Mountains and is bounded by Broad Lake to the north and Hyatt Lake to the south with plenty of open space surrounding the neighborhood. Retail shopping, restaurants, and a newly remodeled supermarket are also located nearby.

In Broomfield, the Silverleaf Countryside Collection offers homes for sale that include 3 to 4 bedrooms with 2 to 3.5 baths. Floor plans range from 2,393 to 3,534 square feet and prices start in the $430,000‘s. Silverleaf is a unique community with magnificent views of the Front Range and Rocky Mountains including the Flatirons and Indian Peaks. The community also includes amenities for homeowners like a central park and tot lot with picnic shelter, green belts, walking trails, and open space.

“Denver residents should use the Parade of Homes this year to take advantage of excellent home buying opportunities," Cartwright said, pointing out that Taylor Morrison has eight new home communities in the Denver area starting from the $330,000s.. "Now is a great time to buy, especially when buyers can find homes in desirable cities like Golden, Arvada, Castle Rock or Broomfield.”
