Earth Heart joins GoToRovers.com at Backer’s Total Pet Expo to help Tails Humane Society raise much needed funds.

Dundee, IL, August 20, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Earth Heart Inc., a manufacturer of a broad line of natural remedy mists for dogs, announced today they have signed on to sponsor the 2013 GoToRovers.com 5K Fun Run/Walk for Pets to be held at Backer’s Total Pet Expo on Saturday, September 21, 2013.

The race begins at 7:30 a.m. in front of the Donald Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois. This industry-wide event raised $4,000 for Illinois shelter animals last year.

Tails Humane Society (THS) is the designated charity of Backer’s Total Pet Expo. THS provides shelter, food, and medical attention to dogs and cats until they can find permanent homes. The shelter cares for over 2,500 displaced animals each year and provides a low-cost spay/neuter clinic to all pet owners, regardless of income or residency.

“We are excited to sponsor this event for the second year,” said Vicki Rae Thorne, founder of Earth Heart. “Our Nonprofit Partner Program is committed to giving back to dog-related charitable organizations in our community.”

The GoToRovers.com 5K Fun Run/Walk brings retailers, manufacturers, and distributers in the pet industry together for a common purpose: to exercise and raise funds for dogs and cats in the pet industry. Online registration is available at www.GoToRovers.com/runfun.php.

GoToRovers.com is an online wholesale website that serves the needs of retailers in the pet industry by providing online catalogs and ordering for over 250 different pet-related manufacturers.
