Markhoff & Mittman is the proud sponsor for the Transit Union Workers Local 100 Night at Citi Field to be held Monday, August 26th at the Mets Game at Citi Field. As part of this sponsorship, 1,000 free tickets were given away to this game.

White Plains, NY, August 26, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Markhoff & Mittman The Disability Guys are pleased to announce that they are the lead sponsor for Spirit Night, the Transit Workers Union (TWU) Local 100 Night which is being held during the Mets Game at Citi Field on August 26th. The NY Mets will present the Transit Workers Union Local 100 and

Markhoff & Mittman a spirit award.

“We are very excited to be sponsoring tickets for Local 100 TWU to thank them for making our city run,” commented Brian Mittman, Managing Partner of Markhoff & Mittman who is proud to be part of this special evening.

The TWU represents over 35,000 New York City transit workers, helping to keep New York running 24/7. Local 100 represents virtually all employees in the city’s subway lines including those who operate trains, maintain the trains and tracks, staff the token booths, clean platforms and subway cars, and service and repair mechanical equipment such as elevators and escalators. Local 100 also represents most of the men and women who drive and maintain public buses both in New York City and the surrounding area as well as workers at other private transportation firms.

Spirit Night provides a wonderful opportunity for New Yorkers to say "thank you" to those who are such an integral part of the city transportation system. “My firm is both happy and proud to be one of the lead sponsors,” stated Mittman.
