Valdosta, GA, August 28, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Inc. magazine ranked Azalea Health (Azalea) NO. 1,365 on its seventh annual Inc. 500|5000, an exclusive ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies. Azalea joins other prominent brands and independent businesses from across the country on the distinguished list which represents a varied landscape of America’s most successful independent entrepreneurs. Alongside of ranking on the Inc. 500|5000, Azalea is also listed as one of Inc.’s “Top 100 Georgia Companies” at No. 51.

Azalea is a provider of innovative health IT solutions for today’s medical organizations and is dedicated to developing a comprehensive suite of software products and technology-enabled services designed to increase the efficiency and profitability of any size facility. These solutions allow physicians and medical staff to streamline workflow processes, while enabling them to continue to provide the highest level of care to their patients.

“We are honored to receive national recognition from Inc. magazine’s prestigious Inc 500|5000 list. As we advance as a company, our key focus remains steadfast on providing simple, secure, and innovative technologies to the healthcare community,” said Baha Zeidan, CEO of Azalea.

The nation as a whole has experienced a stagnant economic environment over the past three years; however, during this time Azalea has achieved an unprecedented growth rate of 296%. The company operates from three locations across the state of Georgia and employs a team of over 40 employees. With a steady eye on the continued growth of the healthcare industry, Azalea looks forward to opportunities for additional expansion to metro-areas in the near future.

Methodology of Selection for Inc. 500|5000
The 2013 Inc. 500|5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2009 to 2012. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2009. They had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2012. (Since then, a number of companies on the list have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2009 is $100,000; the minimum for 2012 is $2 million. As always, Inc. reserves the right to decline applicants for subjective reasons. Companies on the Inc. 500 are featured in Inc.’s September issue. They represent the top tier of the Inc. 5000, which can be found at www.inc.com/500.
