Manila, Philippines, September 01, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Top end boutique condominium, Arya Residences was conferred the Best Condominium Development Award - Philippines by the Ensign Media's South East Asia Property Awards (SEAPA). It is the flagship project of world class boutique developer, ArthaLand Corporation.

The award was given Thursday night in a ceremony in Shangri-la Singapore. This was received by Angie de Villa-Lacson, ArthaLand's President and Chief Executive Officer. She was joined by Nina S. Cordero, the company's Vice President for Project and Business Development.

The South East Asia Property Awards is a competition among luxury developments across Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, and Malaysia. It has various categories recognizing the best in the region covering top developers, best developments, services, and architecture and interior design.

Its organizer Ensign Media is the publisher of the globally circulated Property Report South East Asia, a leading regional magazine for luxury real estate. Ensign Media was established in Thailand in 2004 and has grown to become one of South East Asia's most dynamic and forward thinking publishing companies.

Property Report South East Asia is widely regarded as one of the region's trusted sources of real estate news. It has an affluent and influential readership of around 100,000 people every month.

According to the organizers, South East Asia Property Awards celebrates the best of the best in the region's luxury residential property sector. SEAPA is one way to recognize the hard work, passion and vision shared by various industry players from around South East Asia who continue to push the envelope in luxury living.

In the Philippines, ArthaLand's Arya Residences was one of the finalists in the Best Condominium category, together with other developments such as the Trump Tower at Century City, One Serendra, Admiral Bay Suites, and AlphaLand Makati Place.

Rigid Screening

The selection process is strict and thorough. To enter the South East Asia Property Awards 2012, a development must be nominated. However, a company cannot nominate itself or its development, or be nominated by its employees.

Developments were evaluated according to the following criteria: design and concept including functionality, green initiatives, innovations and amenities; value for money including suitability of location and pricing relative to quality; sales and marketing, including creativity and performance; construction, including state of completion and quality of construction.

For the Best Condominium category, a panel of expert judges reviewed the entries and submitted their scores according to the published criteria to the BDO Advisory. BDO, the organizer's partner, is a full service accounting and consulting firm. It is the world's fifth largest auditing and consulting firm that services large multinational accountancy firms.

The panel then met to discuss and select a final shortlist of up to five finalists.

A local team visited each of the short-listed developments. A face-to-face meeting with the projects' senior executives and a site inspection was undertaken, after which the local judges deliberated the merits of each development, with a representative of BDO present. After all short-listed entrants have been visited, the local judges decided upon the winner and submitted the results to a representative of BDO.

The central panel met with the local team in the presence of BDO to retain the objectivity of the process.

Prior to this recognition Arya Residences and its developer, ArthaLand Corporation have been recognized by various organizations locally and abroad.

In 2011, it was recognized by the SEAPA as one of the few highly commended condominiums in the country. ArthaLand on the other hand was conferred by the Madrid-based Business Initiative Directions the Arch of Europe for Quality and Technology in Gold Category.

As a staunch supporter of the sustainability campaign, World Wide Fund for nature - Philippines awarded ArthaLand the 2011 Environmental Leadership Award. The same recognition is given to the company this year for its support in the climate change adaptation education program.

World class
World class Arya Residences is the first and only top-end development in the Philippines that is built to achieve dual green building certification.

The boutique condominium project registered under the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) program with a certification goal of Gold. Arya Residences is also the benchmark vertical residential development in the Philippine Green Building Council's BERDE (Building for Ecologically Responsive Design Excellence) rating system.

The two tower development is rising along McKinley Parkway in Manila's future-ready Central Business District, Bonifacio Global City.
