The United States Marines host the annual charity event each year for underprivileged families, says Nationwide Relocation Services.

Margate, FL, November 02, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Nationwide Relocation Services recently played a significant role in a toy drive hosted by the United States Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, collecting more than 500 toys over a three-month period.

Hosted by the U.S. Marines, this program has made an enormous difference in the lives of many underprivileged families, says Nationwide Relocation Services. In fact, the office of Nationwide Relocation Services served as a hugely successful drop-off location for community members. After employees, family members and neighbors of Nationwide Relocation Services offered toy donations prior to the holiday season, the philanthropy-focused moving company surely made difference in dozens of families' lives.

According to Nationwide Relocation Services, the Toys for Tots program aims to deliver a hopeful message to deprived youngsters that will encourage them to become productive, responsible and patriotic citizens. The Toys for Tots program as hosted by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve was first instituted to collect toys during October, November and December for deprived children, notes Nationwide Relocation Services.

As reported by a spokesperson from Nationwide Relocation Services, local Toys for Tots programs conduct a wide range of activities during the year, which include bicycle races, foot races, golf tournaments and other events designed to generate monetary and toy donations for children and families in need. Throughout its 14-year history, the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation has increased local toy collections in excess of 55 million toys, says Nationwide Relocation Services. This charitable organization has won many awards and accolades for their commitment to the cause.

Nationwide Relocation Services is proud to stand alongside sponsors as Toys Rโ€™ Us, Build-a-Bear, Lego, Hess and Scholastic. Over 97 percent of donation will go towards the mission of offering books, toys and gifts to children who are less fortunate.

Nationwide Relocation Services is a staunch believer in giving to those less fortunate and improving their daily lives through an array of charitable endeavors. For the team at Nationwide Relocation Services, having a positive for a needy child is ample reward.

Based in Margate, Nationwide Relocation Services assists families throughout the state of Florida with all of their moving needs. Nationwide Relocation Services is hopeful that next yearโ€™s collection of toys will double in size. In fact, the moving company has plans to increase its donations of charitable items with each passing year. With Nationwide Relocation Services continuing efforts to make a positive impact on the lives of underprivileged families, they can take a significant amount of pride in contributing to the Toys for Tots program.
