Grimes Trucking Company Opens New Terminal in Atlanta

Jacksonville, FL, November 20, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Grimes Trucking Company is pleased to announce the opening of a new driver terminal in Atlanta, Georgia. The additional terminal, which opened earlier this month, will give Grimes Trucking a physical presence in Atlanta, where their drivers steadily pass through on Grimes’ regular lanes in the Southeast.

“We wanted to offer our clients additional resources north of Jacksonville by increasing the company’s geographical reach,” explained Michael O’Leary, President of The Grimes Companies, parent company to the Grimes Trucking division. “The new Atlanta terminal not only allows us to provide more services than ever before, it also gives us the opportunity to grow our fleet by tapping into a greater portion of the Atlanta area’s talented workforce of drivers.”

Opening a new trucking terminal paves the way for Grimes to expand their fleet and connect with more contractors. It will serve as an additional base of operations for recruiting and orientation. With 40 years of experience behind them, Grimes Trucking understands the value of good drivers.

“There is nothing more valuable to our company than drivers and contractors who put safety first and have years of safe driving to prove it,” stated Ike Sherlock, Vice President of TGC. “We have built a reputation of being safe, dependable, and on-time because of our commitment to only hire seasoned drivers who know the Southeast lanes we travel.
