Proofhub - The 2nd Best Project Management Software App, Allows Users to Set Their Email Preferences

Dec 9 2013, 3:04am CST | by PR.com

In its latest update, ProofHub offered its users the ability to customize email alerts according to their preference.

Clifton, NJ, December 09, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The most crucial component of any project is not just managing work, but also keeping a track of all that’s happening and has happened within a project. At times, there are changes done, tasks allocated, files uploaded, milestones achieved or deadlined re-scheduled, which without the knowledge of each team member would be as good as nothing. So, in times like these what comes to the rescue is the regular email alerts, that are sent to one and all in a team to catch up on recent changes.

With each member of the team receiving updates through recap emails, no information or addition gets unnoticed or ignored by any. It helps to keep everybody on the same page, so that they know what has happened, what will happen and by when things will happen. But, at times when there is too much going on in an account, receiving a long thread of emails gets annoying. This especially applies in the case of an account owner, who has been doing changes and then receives a project recap of each and everything done by him or her.

Initially with no way than to receive emails, there was nothing much that the users could do. But, now with the ability to set their email preferences each user can choose if they want to receive any emails at all or if they want to receive emails for activities done by others and not themselves or if they wish to receive an email summary in the form of an hourly recap of what’s done in last 4 hours or if they wish to receive emails as soon as anything new happens within their project. With the ability to customize their email notification settings, users get the freedom they have always longed for. With the option to control and manage the information they receive, they can save themselves from being bombarded by email overload and can better concentrate on work without being distracted by such alerts.

“We always wanted to offer maximum flexibility and customization to our users. Managing work should be easy and without any distractions. At times when you are in the middle of something important and you keep receiving endless emails, which though are meant to keep you updated, but at such a time wreaks havoc on your workflow. Considering that we came up with this solution to manage email notifications and make people work without any distractions and to keep their inob as clutter-free as their ProofHub account,” commented team ProofHub on the launch.
