Precision Door Service of Columbia and Precision Door Service of Charleston are now both accredited International Door Association (IDA) locations.

Columbia, SC, December 25, 2013 --(PR.com )-- Doug Kale, owner of both Precision Door Service of Columbia and Precision Door Service of Charleston completed and passed all examinations for the International Door Association accreditation at the International Door Association Expo 2013. Both location are now IDA accredited. Congratulations to Doug!

Founded in 1995, the IDA primary mission is to provide programs and services to door and access systems dealers, for the express purpose of enhancing their value and professionalism. The IDA facilitates the creation and production of educations, accreditation, and certification programs through its partnership with Institute of Door Dealer Education and Accreditation (IDEA). As an educational foundation, IDEA seeks to provide door systems dealers with educations tools and training programs to enhance their management training and professional development. Accreditation by IDEA validates those who have made the commitment and taken action to establish their companies as professional door systems dealers. IDEA is intended to assist the general public in the selection of a qualified, professional door systems dealer when purchasing, servicing, or installing an overhead door. IDEA Accreditation enables professional door companies to be more easily recognized by the public. Companies earning the Accreditation seal have demonstrated a commitment to industry excellence by completing a demanding study course, documenting good business practices and receiving recommendations from others with whom they do business.
