Suarez has been recertified by the Florida Bar as a Board Certified legal expert in Immigration and Nationality Law for another five (5) years. John Pelzer, Chair of the Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization & Education, stated: “as a board certified lawyer, you have, as acknowledged by the Supreme Court of Florida, the distinction of having ‘special knowledge, skills, and proficiency in our practice area, as well as character, ethics, and a reputation for professionalism in the practice of law.’”

Suarez is one of a few Florida Bar Board Certified Immigration and Nationality Lawyers in the State. He has over 17 years’ experience representing immigrants, professionals, foreign investors, and businesses. Suarez assists clients with all immigration needs, including foreign investment, foreign labor certification, international adoption, family and employment based immigrant visas, removal (deportation), asylum, citizenship, and hiring of foreign nationals. He also offers tips and insight on immigration matters on the Southwest Florida Employment Law Blog.

Suarez is a member of the Board of Directors of the United Way of Lee and Hendry Counties and the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), Central Florida Chapter. He also serves on the Diocese of Venice Catholic Charities Board of Directors.

Suarez received his undergraduate degree from St. John's University (B.S., 1988) and his law degree from the George Washington University Law School (J.D., 1995).
