COO of multi-state real estate organization adds title of president.

Las Vegas, NV, January 24, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Gordon Miles is now president and COO of Americana Holdings, which includes Prudential Americana Group, REALTORS in Nevada and Prudential Arizona Properties. Both companies are the largest Prudential Real Estate franchises in their respective states.

Since Miles joined the company in 2007 as its COO, the franchise has grown to Prudential Real Estate’s fourth largest in North America and last year posted more than $2.4 billion in annual sales. Miles is a licensed real estate broker in Nevada, California and Arizona and holds the CRB and ABR designations. In his expanded role as president and COO, Miles will take on additional responsibilities within the company’s operations and work with CEO Mark Stark on growth and strategic applications.

“Our company is one of the few regional organizations in our industry that operate outside of one state,” said Mark Stark, CEO of Americana Holdings. “A leader of Gordon’s caliber is necessary to effectively handle operations in multiple states. He has a keen insight into the inner workings of our industry, giving him the ability to stay ahead of market changes. In a large organization like ours, you can be pulled in many directions. Gordon has proven to be versatile and sensitive to key situations as well as the people who create our success.”

Throughout his 25-year career in real estate, Miles has worked in the West’s top resort destinations including Reno, Tahoe, Sedona, Palm Springs and Las Vegas. Prior to his roles with Americana Holdings, he served as vice president, broker and co-owner of Coldwell Banker Village/Incline Village Realty in Northern Nevada where he managed nine offices in the Reno-Tahoe area. He also served as general manager of a Las Vegas-based real estate franchise.

“Gordon truly understands our business and our people,” said Stark. “His ownership of a luxury real estate brokerage and experience dealing with incredibly demanding clientele has shaped him into a phenomenal leader. He is able to make the necessary and many times tough business decisions while taking into account our people and the overall culture of the company.”

Miles has made several significant impacts in Americana Holdings during his tenure as COO. In 2008 he launched Americana Academy, a full service real estate pre-licensing and continuing education school. Americana Academy has educated thousands of future and current Nevada REALTORS since its inception. He also restructured many of the company service offerings to maximize the value and benefits enjoyed by the company’s employees and real estate sales executives. “This includes a completely paperless processing system, marketing upgrades, IT upgrades just to name a few,” said Stark. I would like to personally thank Gordon for all his efforts and congratulate him on all of his success. I look forward to working together for many years to come and enjoying all the exciting opportunities that lie in our future,” said Stark.

Prudential Americana Group, REALTORS is one of Nevada’s largest real estate companies and was recognized as one of the Inc 5000 fastest growing private companies in America in 2012 and 2013.

Prudential Americana Group, REALTORs and Prudential Arizona Properties are home to some of the country’s top-selling real estate professionals and have been recognized by JD Power and Associates multiple times for their commitment to customer service.

Through its real estate brands, Prudential Real Estate has nearly 80,000 real estate professionals in more than 2,800 locations across North America. Its global footprint spans North America, the United Kingdom, France, China, Singapore, India, Brazil and Australia, and includes more than 2,500 employees worldwide.
