Kitatus Studios launch Kickstarter campaign for Distro Horizons vs. Galaximo’s Army - a 3D Collectathon Project for PC/Mac/Linux and Ouya.

Torquay, United Kingdom, January 28, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Kitatus Studios have unleashed an ambitious Kickstarter to help raise funds for their 3D collectathon project “Distro Horizons Vs. Galaximo’s Army,” a throwback to classic N64 platformers such as Conker’s Bad Fur Day, Banjo Kazooie and Super Mario 64. Infusing classic gameplay layered with modern day video-game features, Kitatus Studios plan to create a modernised version of the collectathon project for the modern gaming audience; Young and old.

Due to be released on PC, Mac, Linux and Ouya, Distro Horizons Vs. Galaximo’s Army is based upon the adventures of the half-man half-cat named “Distro” and his very animated teddy bear sidekick Teddy. The game focuses on their adventures as they put a stop to the evil alien overlord (Galaximo)’s plans to kidnap all living beings to use as slaves to build his utopia on Earth. During the course of the game, Players will travel many different dimensions, each with their own unique feel and art-style as they try to save Galaximo’s prisoners before his evil schemes come to plan.

Aimed at audiences of all ages, Distro Horizons is a game all can enjoy, from children to adults alike. With it's unique charm and addictive gameplay, players will be hooked into the virtual of Distro Horizons and will want to explore every hidden nook and cranny looking for items and abilities that they can use in the fight to save planet Earth.

Kitatus Studios have launched a Kickstarter to help raise funds to complete the project, offering fans and gamers to input their own ideas to help shape the project into a more community-oriented project. Offering perks such as “Star in the game as a non-playable character” and “Become a boss character,” Kitatus Studios wish to open the game up to as many people as possible instead of developing the game behind closed doors with no audience input.
