New Appointments at Auriga

Feb 2 2014, 2:08am CST | by

The beginning of 2014 was marked by two key appointments at Auriga, a U.S.-based software R&D outsourcing services provider with development centers in Russia and EU.

Wilton, NH, February 02, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The beginning of 2014 was marked by two key appointments at Auriga. Elena Baranova was appointed as Director of Engineering, and Andrey Medarev was named Sales Director. Both appointments are aimed at strengthening the company’s position in the software development outsourcing market.

As Director of Engineering, Elena Baranova will oversee all processes with regard to software development/enhancement, implementation, maintenance, and support. Prior to joining Auriga, Mrs. Baranova was employed by Intel Corporation, where she worked in IT Project Management. During her professional career, Mrs. Baranova demonstrated strong leadership capabilities and the ability to build high-performing teams and to accomplish identified goals.

She joined Auriga in June 2013 as a Project Manager for one of the largest company’s projects and gained a strong endorsement from the customer. In just six months, she was offered the position of Director of Engineering.

The company’s General Manager, Vyacheslav Vanyulin, comments, “I believe it is important to stress the fact that the newly appointed Director of Engineering is an expert from our company, someone who knows Auriga from inside and has her own vision of how to tackle possible issues and step up the efforts of the engineering department. I am sure that Elena’s professional qualifications and personal skills will be great assets to our executive team, and our most important department will shine in new splendor.”

Elena Baranova comments on her new role, “So far, I see three focus areas for this role—project execution excellence, expertise development in top-priority areas, and inter-departmental coordination and effective team work. My experience says that mature teamwork is a prerequisite for successful project delivery as well as for the overall health of the company.”

Andrey Medarev will be responsible for increasing sales, launching and maintaining long-term relationships with prospective and current customers, as well as molding and developing Auriga’s business strategy on the Russian market.

With more than 10 years of professional experience working in various roles for leading IT companies, Andrey has gained a strong background in industry-specific business development, sales, and market proficiency.

Alexey Rybakov, Auriga’s VP of Business Development, says, “We welcome Elena and Andrey to our team, and I am sure these appointments mark a step in the direction of new achievements. An effective executive team is very important to the success of the company. Auriga is well known for talented managers who constantly demonstrate outstanding results. New blood in the team will bring fresh perspectives and new experiences. I am sure it will also contribute significantly to the development of our priority business areas.”
