South Beloit, IL, March 29, 2014 --(PR.com )-- Sam Lebowitz, Technical Services Manager at Electrol Specialties Company (ESC), presented as co-instructor at the Aseptic Processing Training Program of the Parenteral Drug Association Training and Research Institute (PDA TRI) in Bethesda, MD, on March 4, 2014. Mr. Lebowitz led the “Clean in Place (CIP) Design for the Aseptic Process” classroom and laboratory sessions. The PDA TRI Aseptic Processing Training Program provides pharma industry personnel with extensive training and information needed to properly evaluate and improve their aseptic processes to ensure sterile products. The course included a unique balance of hands-on laboratory and lecture training, equipping students with knowledge and actual experience to take home and apply immediately on the job.

In his Technical Services Manager role at ESC, Sam Lebowitz provides technical information in the preliminary design phase, coordinates detailed design, and provides field engineering, commissioning, riboflavin spray device coverage testing, and validation services. He has several publications on the subject of integrated sanitary design with CIP and has frequent US and international speaking and teaching engagements. Sam has published numerous articles and authored chapters titled “CIP Distribution Piping Systems” and “Cleaning Agent Injection Systems” in the book Clean-In-Place for Biopharmaceutical Processes.
