XebiaLabs today announced its plans to take the company to the next level of growth with the appointment of its first General Manager for North America, John Dumalac.

Essex, MA, April 03, 2014 --(PR.com)-- On the heels of an explosive year that saw a 140% increase in revenue, XebiaLabs (http://www.xebialabs.com) today announced its plans to take the company to the next level of growth with the appointment of its first General Manager for North America, John Dumalac. The former Intel and Red Hat executive will be responsible for spearheading XebiaLabs into unchartered new territories, creating channel relations and developing a high-performance sales organization. The hire comes at an opportune time, as the company plans to double its headcount and open a new sales office in London.

“We’re very fortunate to have someone with John’s talents join the company as its very first General Manager,” said Coert Baart. “With our plans to expand aggressively, John is exactly the type of decisive, experienced leader we need to evangelize the benefits that a truly automated Continuous Delivery model brings to the entire value chain of building, packaging and testing software.”

John brings 20 years of sales leadership and management experience as a proven leader in identifying top talent and elevating sales team performance through enablement and execution. He was most recently Vice President Global Sales & Channels with TATA Consultancy Services, DS&S Group, based in Santa Clara, Calif., responsible for all DS&S sales and channels. Before that, he was the Managing Director of Sales, West Region, for Red Hat, Inc., where he quadrupled revenues for the open source leader. Prior to Red Hat, he was Senior Director at Intel Corporation in Boston, managing the East Region Intel Solution Services team. He spent his early years at Baan prior to its acquisition by Infor.

John has received multiple awards and recognitions for his sales leadership achievements from Red Hat, Intel, and Infor (Baan) and is very active in the Silicon Valley startup community. He is also a former member of the United States Marine Corps Reserve and earned his BS degree in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts/Lowell. How Gross Profitability, Value, And Dividend Aristocrats Can Improve Your Returns

Aug 1 2014 4:43pm CDT | Source: SeekingAlpha

By Sure Dividend:In Robert Norvy-Marx's paper The Other Side Of Value: The Gross Profitability Premium, the link between value and quality is explored. United Kingdom Manufacturing PMI Should Bookend The Decline In The British Pound

Aug 1 2014 3:36pm CDT | Source: SeekingAlpha

By Dr. Duru: The British pound (NYSEARCA:FXB) has experienced a steep and near-continuous decline ever since it hit new multi-year highs in July against the US dollar. The July Markit/CIPS UK Manufacturing PMI® helped cause another downleg in the British pound that should bookend, or signal the end of this decline.
