Ex-Dividend Reminder: EMCOR Group, Acuity Brands and IDEX

Looking at the universe of stocks we cover at Dividend Channel, on 4/15/14, EMCOR Group, Inc. (NYSE: EME), Acuity Brands Inc (NYSE: AYI), and IDEX Corporation (NYSE: IEX) will all trade ex-dividend for their respective upcoming dividends. EMCOR Group, Inc. will pay its quarterly dividend of $0.08 on 4/30/14, Acuity Brands Inc will pay its quarterly dividend of $0.13 on 5/1/14, and IDEX Corporation will pay its quarterly dividend of $0.28 on 4/30/14.

As a percentage of EME’s recent stock price of $44.14, this dividend works out to approximately 0.18%, so look for shares of EMCOR Group, Inc. to trade 0.18% lower — all else being equal — when EME shares open for trading on 4/15/14. Similarly, investors should look for AYI to open 0.11% lower in price and for IEX to open 0.40% lower, all else being equal.
