Poncy, formerly CEO of SOC-SMG, The Densus Group, Danet USA, and Venali, has joined RELYANT, LLC as its new President at the corporate headquarters in Maryville. John brings over 27 years of extensive leadership experience as a US Army Officer and business leader; an assortment of industry experience in the security, government contracting, and technology industries; a premier educational background with a BS in Political Science from West Point and an MBA in Finance from Wharton; and a breadth of company managerial knowledge as a CEO of small companies and an executive leader in larger, Fortune 500 firms. John has carried a consistent record of exemplary performance to every opportunity, and the RELYANT Team is pleased to have him join the company in a full-time leadership capacity.

John thrives on making good organizations into great ones, enabling them to exceed every expectation. Following a very successful career in the military (including command of a light infantry company, a special operations company, and the Tomb of the Unknowns), he served in positions of increasing responsibility in the business world in such Fortune 500 companies as Nortel, EDS, Unisys, and Avaya. Over the last thirteen years, John has gone on to lead several companies in the COO and CEO capacity.
