Ex-Dividend Reminder: MPLX, Baker Hughes and Holly Energy Partners

Looking at the universe of stocks we cover at Dividend Channel, on 5/1/14, MPLX LP (NYSE: MPLX), Baker Hughes Inc. (NYSE: BHI), and Holly Energy Partners LP (NYSE: HEP) will all trade ex-dividend for their respective upcoming dividends. MPLX LP will pay its quarterly dividend of $0.3275 on 5/15/14, Baker Hughes Inc. will pay its quarterly dividend of $0.15 on 5/16/14, and Holly Energy Partners LP will pay its quarterly dividend of $0.5075 on 5/15/14.

As a percentage of MPLX’s recent stock price of $54.81, this dividend works out to approximately 0.60%, so look for shares of MPLX LP to trade 0.60% lower — all else being equal — when MPLX shares open for trading on 5/1/14. Similarly, investors should look for BHI to open 0.21% lower in price and for HEP to open 1.56% lower, all else being equal.
