Greenville, NC, May 28, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Monday, June 2nd marks the beginning of the 3rd Annual Dog Days of Summer event at Loreta’s Frozen Yogurt, 736 Greenville Boulevard, S.W., Greenville, NC.

Local animal rescue groups join the event this year to make it bigger and better than ever. The Friends of the Pitt County Animal Shelter, the Human Society of Eastern Carolina and the Pitt County Animal Shelter are partnering with Loreta’s to showcase dogs available for adoption every Monday from 6-8PM throughout the summer.

The Dog Days of Summer offers Free samples of Loreta’s frozen yogurt for dogs called ‘Doggy Yo’. Doggy Yo comes in two flavors, no-sugar-added Tahitian Vanilla and Peanut Butter. Every Doggy Yo container has a dog bone treat surprise inside.

Monday nights beginning June 2nd through August 25th, from 6-8PM, the partnering rescue groups will bring dogs available for adoption to meet and greet attendees. One organization will be present each Monday night of the summer. The Dog Days of Summer takes place in Loreta’s outside seating area.

They invite everyone to bring their dogs for a Free Doggy Yo treat, as well as, enjoy meeting and greeting the Dogs 'available for adoption'....your new best friend looking for a family to Love.

Loreta’s features over ten different flavors daily with more than 100 toppings to choose from. They have Loreta-Splits, Loreta-Smootheez, hand-crafted Loreta Bars, Frozen Yogurt Cakes, frozen yogurt for dogs ‘Doggy-Yo’ and much, much more.

Loreta’s opened July of 2011 and is a friend and supporter of animal rescue groups, Vidant Children’s Hospital and many other community-minded organizations. Loreta’s Frozen Yogurt is a member of the National Ice Cream Retailers Association and the Greenville-Pitt County Chamber of Commerce.

Loreta’s Frozen Yogurt is a locally owned and operated at 736 Greenville Boulevard S.W. in Greenville, North Carolina. Loreta’s is located next to the Greenville Grande Movie Theatre just up from the Cracker Barrel.
