The Winning Numbers in $1.6 Billion Powerball Drawing on Ticket in California

The record-breaking Powerball Jackpot has been won in California. At 10:59pm ET the Powerball lottery has drawn the winning numbers for the close to $1.6 billion jackpot. The exact final record-breaking jackpot is $1.586 billion.

The final jackpot number is still pending according to Powerball. The winning numbers are 4, 8, 19, 27, 34 and 10 for the Powerball drawing Wednesday January 13.

While we do not know the final Powerball jackpot, there is at least one winner of the unbelievable high jackpot. The California lottery has tweeted that a jackpot winning ticket was sold in California. Someone won who bought a ticket in Chino Hills at the 7 Eleven. Chino Hills is a suburb of Los Angeles located in the southwestern corner of San Bernardino County.

There is gathered a big crowd at the Chino Hills 7 Eleven store. The store owner will receive $1 million because he sold the winning ticket. The crowd is celebrating the store owner and take selfies with him. See ABC 7’s video below.

 

 

So far there are no further details. Other state lotteries have not reacted yet to the Powerball drawing. The Powerball site states as of writing this story that the drawing results are pending.

The close to $1.6 Billion Powerball jackpot is the biggest lottery jackpot in the history of lotteries world-wide. Spain’s legendary Sorteo Extraordinario de Navidad (Spanish Christmas Lottery) has lost the title to Powerball.
